Flood Insurance Information

Randy Borns reports that some mortgage companies are now requiring flood insurance.  This is based on FEMA flood zone maps.  Having a survey completed will determine if your property is in the "flood zone".  Randy has more information and a possible discounted rate for a surveyor.  If you are impacted and want more information, call Randy at 616-502-2213

A metal rowboat has washed up on the Steins beach.  Check your boats.

There is a small, covered boat or swim raft with a green bottom washed up in front of Marilyn Vance's place 1364 ETLR

Dr. Canale Final Report and Member Directory

The final water quality report from this summers study by Dr. Ray Canale is now available on the web site.  Go to the "Water Quality" tab and scroll down.  General conclusion: "The data show no significant water quality problems in Little Traverse Lake..."
