Flood Insurance Information

Dr. Canale Final Report and Member Directory

The final water quality report from this summers study by Dr. Ray Canale is now available on the web site.  Go to the "Water Quality" tab and scroll down.  General conclusion: "The data show no significant water quality problems in Little Traverse Lake..."

A pull behind “Mega Mambo” raft by Rave Sports washed up on Neil Hanna's beach this morning. You can call him at (231) 228-7510 or just stop by and pick it up at 822 East Traverse Lake Road.

New Member-Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Nancy Rankin has been appointed to the Board.  Nancy will take Neil Hanna's place and fulfill his term which ends in August, 2019.  Neil is a valuable asset to the Association and we thank him for his service.

Fun Run Bike Walk - Koffee Klatch Tomorrow. Annual Meeting Notification

Happy Fourth of July!

Join us tomorrow at 9:30 AM at the Cleveland Township Park for the Fun Run Bike Walk and Koffee Klatch.  Make your choice of activity on the road or just sit and enjoy the coffee and treats at the Koffee Klatch.  You can also pay your dues!

Annual Meeting Notification

The Association bylaws require that 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting, the members be advised of the meeting and the number of Directors which will be elected this year.  The Association Annual Meeting will be held on August 4, 2018 at the Cleveland Township Hall.  This year there will be 4 Directors elected.  Current Directors Jerry Leanderson, Conrad Mason, Kristen Race and Jeff Shutz have agreed to run for reelection.  Any other member interested in serving on the Board should submit his/her name in writing to the Board by July 21, 2018

June 30, 2018 - Coffee with the Board

The Board invites Association members to a casual get together on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 9:00 AM at the Cleveland Township Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to update you on developments on water quality testing, water levels, and the Heritage Trail.  Also, this is an opportunity to interact with the Board and your neighbors.  Coffee and treats will be provided.

July 4, 2018 - Koffee Klatch and Fun Run/Walk

The combined Koffee Klatch and Fun Run/Walk returns to the Cleveland Township Park on Wednesday the Fourth of July at 9:30 AM.  Plan on coming with all your family and friends to participate in the Fun Run/Walk and our traditional Koffee Klatch.  Drinks and treats are provided.

July 14, 2018 - Around the Lake Garage Sale

Water Level Readings on the Website - Fireworks Plan

You can check the readings of the water levels at the culverts at TLR and CR-669 by going to the website and clicking on "Water Levels".  There is a tab for "Current and Historical Water Levels".

Water is up due to heavy April snow melt and rain on top of it.

The Fireworks on LTL are scheduled for June 30, 2018 - BABOOOM!!

New Association Board of Director

At a brief Board meeting held prior to the Winterfest Dinner, the Board elected Conrad Mason to complete the vacant Directors position that was created by the passing of Bob Kraemer.  Conrad will complete Bob's term which ends in August, 2018. 

Winterfest Dinner a Success

The 2018 Winterfest Dinner at the Leland Lodge was enjoyed by the largest attendance in many years.  The Lodge's room was decorated special for our group with plenty of room and good service.   Everyone enjoyed the buffet style dinner with drinks before.  It was nice to see so many new and old neighbors in attendance.  Mark your calendars for next years dinner on Saturday night of Presidents Day weekend.

2018 Winterfest Dinner

Happy 2018 to All,

Hopefully everyone had wonderful holidays and are making it through the winter.

We will be holding our Winterfest Dinner (formerly known as Survivors dinner) on February 17, 2018. Here are the details:

Who:      All Association members, families, and friends

What:     A midwinter dinner get together with neighbors and friends. 
               Formerly known as Winter Survivors Dinner, we decided to change the name
               (there is still a lot of winter to survive!) and moved the date back to coincide
               with Presidents Day weekend.

When:    Saturday February 17, 2018
               6:00 PM cocktails with dinner following

Where:    The Leland Lodge
                565 Pearl St. Leland, Michigan  231 256-9848
                  The Lodge will be providing a private dining room and a private area for
                  our social time.  Dinner will be ordered off their menu with a variety of
                  options and prices.  Everyone is responsible for their own charges.
